    iPETcertum™ extends the functionality of Claritas iPET™, an SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) for accelerated and reduced isotope scans for PET, PET-CT/MRI. Claritas iPET™ enables reducing scan time and reducing contrast dose, while yielding diagnostic quality images. iPETcertum™, provides the additional capability of automated and accurate detection and quantification of isotope uptake in tissues and organs quantified by SUV, SUVmax, and volume values. iPETcertum™ provides clinicians the ability to locate lesions automatically by values specified by them.

    Claritas iPET™ is FDA 510k cleared and is commercially available, the company expects iPETcertum™ to obtain FDA 510k clearance by Q4, 2024. The functionality and capability of both software devices will be featured at the SNMMI Annual Meeting in June 2024 in Toronto.

    • Claritas iPET™ is an FDA 510(k) cleared, image enhancement and reconstruction software for PET, PET-CT & PET-MRI that implements mathematical algorithms to achieve accurate results. iPET™ enables reducing scan time and reducing isotope dosage while yielding diagnostic quality scans.   As it is based on fixed algorithms, finer lesions (details) are preserved (not lost), and no artifacts are not introduced on enhancement and reconstruction.

    iPET™ computes the fusion of functional (cells/tissues) information from PET with the anatomical information from CT/MRI.

    The key features are:

    •       Accelerated scan capability - reduction of scan time by up to 75%.

    •       Reduced isotope dosage – reduction of isotope dosage by at least 50%

    While maintaining diagnostic image quality and preserving scan details.
